Responsibilities: The Purchasing Group Leder will be responsible for the execution and operations of the company’s purchasing policies and maintaining supply inventory levels required for effective company operations. This role will be responsible for the day to day operation and direct supervision of all activities withing the purchasing department to ensure all purchasing actions are in support of the manufacturing operations and business plan needs to ensure alignment to Voice of Business (VOB) and Voice of Customer (VOC) for the purchasing and lean initiatives. Apply global ERP- SAP business processes for Tikhvin plant to ensure high levels of customer service, responsiveness and prompt solution of issues. Guide day-to-day operations of the purchasing department to support current manufacturing operations. Organize and ensure smooth supply of purchased materials and services. Troubleshoot purchasing issues. Develop and implement procurement strategy. Manage Contracting process. Develop, implement and maintain inventory strategy that supports the organization’s supply chain. Inventory management. Define accurate inventory levels to maximize OTD and reduce costs. Drive inventory reduction initiatives. Collaborate with manufacturing by providing support to production scheduling on all material flow issues to meet production schedules and customer requirements. Develop and maintain professional relationships with vendors. Negotiate with vendors and suppliers for best quality, price and delivery terms. Perform cost and/or price analyses. Resolve grievances and facilitate complex negotiations with vendors and suppliers. Propose and implements improvements to the purchasing system that will improve vendor relationships and lower the cost of doing business. Ensure consistency of ordering procedures. Reviews purchase orders for compliance with company policies, ensure they are closed in accordance with finance and purchasing guidelines. Ensure purchasing process documentation is properly maintained. Drive lean principles: review and analyze processes to increase efficiency and eliminate waste and errors. Take responsibility for and drive improvements to ensure accuracy and integrity of primary production data within SAP. Take leading role in upgrading the SAP knowledge/capabilities of the team members and other relevant company employees. Create, maintain complex metrics/or review metrics to communicate overall team performance. Lead localization projects. Participate in internal and external audits. Develop and implement corrective and preventive actions. Carry out managerial responsibilities in accordance with the company’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include assigning tasks, monitoring work, providing direction and assistance to the purchasing team on a daily basis; interviewing, training and developing employees; talent and succession planning, performance management, coaching, mentoring; recognizing, rewarding and disciplining. Collaborate with other departments and leadership team. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements: Relevand field of study preferrd (Business management, logistics or finance). Purchasing and supply management certifications a plus specifically if the main area of study not in logistics . Sourcing and vendor management experience. Managerial experience. Good leadership skills. Strong interpersonal and social skills. Strong strategic and quantitative analytical skills. Innovative approach to problem solving. Organizational skills including the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines and efficient multi-task. English – intermediate or upper intermediate level. Must be able to read, write and understand English with strong written and verbal business communication skills. Strong hands-on knowledge of ERP. Preferably SAP. Proven knowledge of lean manufacturing methods, procedures and cost reduction techniques. Experience using Just in time tools: VSM, KANBAN, etc. Computer skill, proficiency in Microsoft office required (MS Excel in particular) Conditions: Employment in line with the labour legislation; Voluntary medical insurance; Lunch compensation; Relocation compensation; Opportunities to develop and progress in the Company
