Our Customer provides information and entertainment services through Satellite and Streaming channels to end users across USA. There is a well-defined, complicated several-steps process to deliver information (like weather, traffic, gas cost and etc.) from different data sources to multiple end users on different clients (mobile, web, head units, etc.). Our team is developing Android Automotive applications merging satellite radio and media streaming features and providing the latest modern SiriusXM UI/UX. Responsibilities
Translate designs and wireframes into high quality code Design, build, and maintain high performance, reusable, and reliable Java code Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application
Technical Skills and Experience
Strong knowledge of Android SDK Strong knowledge of Android platform design principles, patterns, and best practices Ability to design applications around natural user interfaces Knowledge of unit tests development Experience with modern and distributed code and defect management tools Java SE knowledge OOP Understanding UML documentation Good written English skills
Nice to have:
Knowledge of RxJava, Dagger, Mockito Android NDK Build systems knowledge, like gradle, maven, etc. Android Automotive OS experience Knowledge of Linux usage Kotlin Knowledge of C++ 11 Fluent verbal English is the advantage
