Currently to our Moscow office we are seeking Associate Licensing Manager/Category Manager (Softlines) to join our Licensing Team. The objective of the role is to achieve sales revenue targets with designated Product categories, Manage the current licesnees database and find new partners to fill in the gaps in the licensing category matrix. Communicate with the marketing team and provide support in synergy projects between Toys and Licensing business. Responsibilities: 1. Job Purpose:
- Achieve sales and profit goals through strong development, marketing, promotion and advertising execution and overall management of the hard lines division in line by principle, with Mattel Brands Consumer Products (primarily apparel, footwear, school kits, etc. )

2. Key Result Areas:
- Strategic Marketing Plans by licensee
- Assist in Financial Management
- New Business Development
- Product Development/Selection
- Manage Advertising/Media/PR
- Promotion/ Merchandising
- Market Research, sales forecasting and analysis with Licensing Manager
- Leadership/ Interaction with business partners

3. Main Tasks and Accountabilities:
- Strategic Marketing Plans by Licensee
- Develop, present and execute annual marketing plans
- Develop strategic plans for the hard lines category in Russia
- Develop, lead and execute joint marketing programs with Licensees and the trade.

- Financial Management together with Licensing manager and finance department
- Gather all royalty and sales forecast reports from all licensees in a timely manner and compile financial reports back to the Licensing team as required
- Liaise with the legal team to chase all outstanding manufacture / licensing contracts. - Create and submit all deal memo’s to be submitted to the legal team ensuring all relevant approvals have been gathered and all information required is present and correct


- In conjunction with the Licensing manager, develop aggressive yet realistic financial goals for licensees and ensure that those goals are achieved or exceeded.

- Business Development
- Source new licensees in Russia




- Negotiate licensing agreements and facilitate contract administration. - Establish sales and growth targets with each licensee
- Optimize each licensee’s business through bi-annual business reviews and planning meetings. - Plan and assist in synergy meetings and roadshows where all licensees and other partners can gain exposure to the complete brand plans for the following year, share learning and understand how they can integrate their efforts more closely with other brand/licensee activity. - Product Development Selection
- Continually identify and bring to market new product development opportunities (incl. line extensions and major new product initiatives). - Drive growth by building the hard line category, expanding distribution and segmenting product for the various channels of distribution. - Work closely with Creative department to ensure that products are being developed in line with MBCP direction and strategy


- Manage Licensing advertising/ media/ PR
- Identify and pursue media/PR opportunities that support licensed products and serve to enhance overall brand awareness/involvement. - Develop advertising plans for licensed products in conjunction with Licensees and the trade.

- Licensing promotions/merchandising
- Champion, develop, execute and analyze consumer and trade programs with clear tactics and objectives that support brand/trade strategies
- Work closely with licensees to develop consistent and coordinated retail executions of brand programs. - Coordinate retail programs with Mattel Toys team when applicable
- Develop and produce retailer POS material in accordance with brand style guides and trade marketing guidelines.

- Market Research/Sales forecasting & analysis
- Analyze available marketing/consumer/trade research information (primary and secondary) and make recommendations regarding packaging, pricing, promotion, availability, advertising and competition.

5. Requirements:
-
Educational background: - Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field

Professional experience: - 3-5 years professional experience in Licensing, Sales or Marketing

Technical competencies: - Good command of Microsoft Office (Word, and preferably advanced Excel and PowerPoint)
